Without God there is no hope for the people who are being harmed daily. Without God we are lost. Without God the whole world is lost & there is no point to life that fades like the flowers in the clearing before it is overgrown once again. God, our God, though, is always with us! Thank you, Lord, for being our ever present help in times of trouble. Without you, your strength & your grace I could not even hold my head up. Thank you for the peace that should not be, but just suddenly is, the peace that passes understanding.
Jesus, in your precious, holy, mighty name, please watch over & protect the people & their children. See that those that harm them for fun & profit see justice in the land of the living within our lifetimes. Forgive us, Lord, for our allowing so many children to be harmed whether before or after birth. We know better & should fight harder for the children & the innocent. We just don’t know how, Lord. Please Lord, direct our steps, so that we can help thy will be done on earth as in heaven.
Jesus, please, please, help your people fight back against the abundance of injustice sweeping the earth. Show us how to be effective, direct our steps, may your plans be our plans, Lord. Please help us in our weakness, Lord. Use your infinite, perfect power to sweep aside the vast evil that mocks us at every turn. See that the proud mockers stumble & fall, Lord. Let the faithful mount up as if on the wings of eagles & run the race you have set before us with strength & stamina.
Oh, Lord, help us in our despair. Do not allow the evil to crush us & mock you, Lord. Please, see that your mighty justice is done. Jesus, thank you for listening to my prayer. Please may it be so. Your flock desperately needs your help now, Lord. You who are our rock & our redeemer, give us strength & redeem us, so that we might be useful in the fight against this all surrounding evil. Jesus, in your precious, holy, mighty name, amen.
